Fish cakes. fingers too stiff
I thought what content to put up today. then i guess i might as well show how stiff my fingers are when it comes to playing the keyboard. mind you the last i played properly is when i was 6 year old. then I freaking stopped playing ever since. then during my stint in uk, i could not come out of my house because i couldnt stand the temperatures of autumn winter and spring .
lo and behold i bought a keyboard and kept myself occupied in my home. well this is the results from the youtube below. following scores are fur elise, fringe theme, pokemon theme, and the last part of un owen was her?. enjoy the laughing at me lol.
enjoy the atrocity.

what makes you, You?
long post alert: for TL:DR version scroll down to get the summary
i did not come up with this topic all of a sudden. was talking some dude on the street that triggered me to write this. there is a worrying trend that i am seeing people are comfortable with their life. i would not name the dude because there are many dudes and ladies with the same problem. One thing i see is that people would like to mirror someone else like some joker on the street or some sapian that is influential. i mean like trying to emulate most aspects like achieving the same materials status with the mirrored target, or trying to have the same perception of the person. some how when i was growing up. i was lucky that i was thought the uniqueness of different people and to not feel like a sore thumb sticking out just because you do something that is said to be weird by your peers.
of course i had a little hard time when i was little. but that story would be told another time. but even with the weirdness that is associated with me i still manage to survive in my adolescence's period. but look at this way.
when we were young i mean like kids of the age of below 6, we didnt give a shit who are we friends with. there is always a wierdo like me in a group of small kids and yet all of us can get along without any prejudicesem. you could say something wierd and yet non of your friend would say that it is nonsence .well those were the days where you could YOU. At my age now at 24 , i start to see that the days of being a kid is all over. we start to have segregrated groups of people where we would like to be in. if you think back what happen in you primary and secondary school, this segregration idealogy is planted from the base of our education system.
you have got to think about it, in my primary school. there were groups of smart students who are in the top class and slow learners in the lower class. and we were made to think that being in the slow learners class makes us feel unsuperior of the top class. i hope you can see where this is going. and yes you can disagree with me but most of our innocent minds were corrupted by this ideology that if you are in the slow learners class that means that you must be some sort of delinquent. and for students that are in the class would happen to to believe that they are..
sorrry if this paragraph has some rough words but i am going to make a point here. imagine telling a small child that he or she is stupid every day. what does that say. of course the child will believe that he or she is stupid and will accept the fact that that is the truth and the ultimate truth. that is what is happening in schools now that implement this grading separation system. this is the start to a bigger dilemma that is going to be faced by my generation at a whole.
well the class segregration is just the begining for the process. this tends to get worse over time as when you are in a class with fast learners there would be another segregration that would happen that is due to the teachers influence. there would be a group of students that the teacher would like to teach as the that is waht is expected in a class full of smart boffins. but being in a top class for a year i can see that this cause a neglect in the some what slower in the fastest league students. i was one of them.lol but then this made us want to become someone different.
this is where i make the statement that you are you and you cannot be someone else. but some how we change our ways to be part of the elite peers and thus neglecting what qualities that makes unique to others. this is further amplified with in tertiary education level where i see students start to split up into groups and for some students that cant find a group that they are comfortable with, they change their ways to be recognised . and the cycle gets worse when we are older.
how can this stop. well i dont know. i am just some normal dude that may be affected by this.
tldr version: people are not being themselves and try to emulate others. the end.

Blazing Afternoon Sun
Greeting arise that starts anew
Streak of amber seen from window
Await in moment we anticipate in vain.
Giving a drive of what's ahead
Maturing time changes the shade
Amber to clearness marks a growth
Gradient of shadow implies the future.
Warming the environment in the process
Forward in moment reveal more
Unpleasantness sinks to knowledge
Perceiving routine an unbearable manner
Period of which seems eternity.
The evening of time shows an end
Short comings of unpleasantness are of history.
Resetting back to what is of the initial stage.
cycle of this repeats inevitably.

Paradoxical statement
What makes a statement paradoxical. there is a show that i watch which is hosted by Stephen Fry. i wonder how much knowledge does he have when he is on the show. Like he know almost every topic that . well back to the topic. there was a statement on the show which he asks the contestants on what is the worlds most uninteresting number. to which most of the guests on that show came up with a few different answers. To which the answers of it seemed to be 1729.
of course this claim to this number seemed to come from a story of a mathematician visiting another mathematician. link. you can click the link if you want to find out more . but in summary the mathematician is visiting a very ill mathematician in the hospital. and well being awkward human beings like all engineers and mathematicians, there was silence in the ward. Thinking on how to start a conversation, the dude that was visiting opened up with a statement that 1729 seemed not that numbers that interest the people at whole. and well that claim was shot back by the ailing mathematician saying that it is in fact an interesting number.
1729 smallest number that can be represented as the sum of two cubes in two different way.
i wonder how can a mathematician can think up of such complex statements in such a short time. and getting back to the topic of the post, this is a classical example of a paradoxial statement. By telling something that in not interesting, it indirectly draws attention to that claim making it an interesting bit.
How about "Please ignore this notice". well did you ?
or
1+1= 3
the equation above and this statement is false.
.
well paradoxial is something interesting in other sense of time travel. a famous paradox theory known as the grandfather's paradox is seen here
lets say that you have a time machine and then you go back in time to kill you grand father. by right without a grand father your father wont exist and thus you wont be around to go back to kill your grandfather thus your grandfather would still be alive. which the whole cycle becomes a paradox and continues in an infinite loop
well the quirky part of this paradox is depicited in futurama where fry went back in time and killed his grandfather but some how he did not vanish in thin air as seen in back to the future. instead he was still alive not because his grand father is related to him but some how he is his own grandfather as it was shown that fry slept with his grandmother.
dont ask me why i started writing stuff like this. anyway more coming soon.

- please note that since House Bill 3261 has not been approve so blog content have now returned back to your blog. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
I wanna be the ayam telur
Like no one want to see
To catch them i dont know why
To train them just because
I will travel to Uppumuckluk
Searching for oil and gas
Each foot steps that is taken
Burns the place inside
ayam telur, its you and me
I know it doesn't make sense
ayam telur, oh, you're my best friend
In a world full of bacon
ayam telur, a heart so true
Our courage will get us into trouble
You teach me and I'll teach you
Ayamtelur, gotta catch 'em all
gotta catch 'em all
gotta catch 'em all
Ayam telur!!

Fear of Failing
I am not making a mockery of any parties that are involved in this post. just highlighting an issue
This post is dedicated to a small piece of news that has become so hot among the netizens of Malaysia. What can i say about the mass disgust of the people discussing about a particular person. well if you are born in Malaysia, there will be a time in the past where there is a big hoo ha on a particular student that did exceptionally well in a national level exam. not only did the person did our nation proud but manage to impress the governing bodies. There were lots of support and sponsorship offerings that were given to this person to support tertiary education.
Once this happen, it became an aspiration among most parents to have their children to accomplish what this person did. well i am one of the children who had to pressure of getting the best among the best. For most westerners who automatically think that this is an asian thing, well i wont say you are wrong but hell yeah it is. from my 15 years of going through this education system, never once that i felt so pressured to get good grades and dreaded the time when my marks come back in red ink.
for once i can say i had the fear of failing. well after going through the system, that this is a bad thing. i am sure most of my peers would be dying to bash up this post, but i have seen from my perspective that fear of failing is bad. one reason is that this cultivates a different type of learning experience. instead of learning to understand basic fundamentals, a memory based learning is born from this. i can say the way i studied is not by understanding but by memorising for the exams. Well , to tell you honestly i am never good at memorising and thus after sitting for any exams, i totally forget what the heck i have studied in class. but some subjects that i have way too much interest in it, i could actually explain to people after 7 years not looking at the subject.
from this i can say the reason of that is because i understand the subject not memorising some form of formulas or stuff. well if you are curious what subject it is, it is Physics and Additional Mathematics(oh noes , asians and their maths.) well me is duhhh half chinaman and duh half indianman.
oh well getting back to topic, the fear of failing makes students learn things by memorising. some say that it does not and i have to agree, some exceptional students are bloody sponges . what ever goes in the brain stays in the brain. but unfortunately i am not spongebob. And from my experience studying abroad in England, there is a different system where learning becomes interesting as we learn based on failures and mistakes. but at the same time i wont say this is the best method of learning too. there might be lots of non genuine students who dont really want to study would drop out of this system. but as of the percentage who really want to learn would benefit from this.It gives opportunity for those who don't understand stuff to make mistakes and learn from mistakes that happen. my perspective of learning is that when one is allowed to make mistakes that knowledge becomes an experience which is more valuable than facts that are just kept in one corner of the brain.
so going back to the first story about this extraordanary student, that student managed to get a scholarship to pursue a tertiary education in England. well some how the person manage to fail one of her subject. this statement was released by some local blogger in my country and it became a public uproar over how someone so perfect could fail a paper. the thing is I am not condemming the person for failing but this brings out the the very fact of the title of the blog. THE FEAR OF FAILING.
the thing is that the issue became so intense when the parents had to come out and make a statement to all malaysians. well you guessed it, statement was the child did not fail. it was announced that the student did not failed and here i am thinking why the hell or how the hell we come to this stage of getting so scared to fail doesnt it hampers learning experience. even if the person did not fail which i doubt so because i have failed many times before in tertiary level.
When i have kids in the future, i would not want to put the pressure when my child fails but work together with them to understand why they make the mistake.
But then again i dont have children so i wont understand how hard it is to raise a child. lol
anyway for those who took time off your busy schedule to read this from the top to bottom: YOU'RE AWESOME!!!
for those who TL:DR : YOU'RE AWESOME TOO!!!!!!!
